[ROOT]Increase Whatsapp Upload File Size

WhatsApp is an instant messaging app for smartphones that operates under a subscription business model. The proprietary, cross-platform app uses the Internet to send text messages, images, video, user location and audio media messages.the 16 mb whatsapp file size limit on videos and audios that can be shared by whatsapp.,But this trick is provide to increase the upload file size.



Requirments:

1. ES File Explorer (or any other file manager) with ROOT permission.
   
   
2. Having already installed and activated WhatsApp on your device.

Increase upload file size:

1. First of all force stop WhatsApp application from setting.
2. Open ES file manager ang go to root as shown in below figure:
   
3. Goto  /data/data/com.whatsapp.
   
4. Open the file com.whatsapp_prefrences.xml via TEXT EDITORS (so you can edit and save the strings).
   
5. Search for the string with the inscription <int name = “media_limit_mb” value = “16” />.
6. Now just change the number “16” with the MB that you want (It is recommended to make a backup of the file before editing).
   
7. Save the file and reboot the device.
8. Now enjoy file upload greater than 16MB.
