These are steps that you have to follow to obtain your student licence.
1. First go to Autodesk's website: Click Here
2. Click on SIGN IN (upper right button)

2. Click on SIGN IN (upper right button)
3. A registration form will open, fill necessary information and click on Next.
4. After successful registration a popup will appear saying "Your account has not activated yet"
5. Go to your email account and active the autodesk account.
6. After activation, login to autodesk using id and password that you have created.
7. Now go to this link http://www.autodesk.com/education/free-software/all and choose version of AutoCAD you want, I am choosing "AutoCAD Mechanical"
8. Choose Autocad version, language and operating system and after that you will find your licence
9. Click on install now to download it!
10. Note that this licence is for student only not for other use!
